I just finished reading this link to my blog and decided that posting it here would help hold me accountable and remind all of us that we need to worship each week with the "BIG" church people. Some of you have this down and get your fuel each week, some of us struggle with it. Let's get honest and talk about how we can make this work for each member of our team!
Big Church is Important for KidzTown Leaders
When we first started coming I was very glad to know that you guys did make it to big church. I think it is important for everyone in ministry to get "fed" or "fueled" as well. Sometimes a ministry itself can become an idol and get in the way of God. I agree with all that about why you cannot go sometimes and also why you should. Especially for your own family:
ReplyDelete"Big church can be a big boost for your family" The past few years I taught the special needs Sunday School class at our old church. When it started i would do the first hour then go to church but lack of help turned it into both services. I loved the kids so much but started to feel my fire die down. When I did have help for the second hour it would seem that another class was short and I would still miss church. It is an age old problem to have enough help for childrens church services. I wish I knew the best answer, I think many people would be willing to help if even just once or twice a year. I know that you two are amazing and I am certain it is the Lord leading you.

This is sometimes so difficult. But the message was received and will definitely be working harder on attending "Big Church" more often.
