Getting started
Ok folks and kidz too! We're just getting ourselves organized with a way to communicate to everyone in one place without paper, isn't that great! (we'll still have paper, but there will be more here!)
We're looking to add photos, videos, upcoming events, ways to get involved, parenting tips, scripture memory verse activities, and so much more to this blog for kidz and their families. Subscribe on the right to stay updated on what's happening in KidzTown!

KidzTown is here!
Grand Opening Weekend of the new face to children's ministries at Niceville Assembly of God took place August 7 and 8 at 108 Hwy 85 North. If you happened to be on campus that weekend, you were probably part of a parade, ribbon cutting, cake reception, and grand opening tour of the newly remodeled areas.
Mayor Jubi-Lee greeted guests as they entered the new facilities. The town's dog catcher, Mr. Mike and Dr. Do-Right were on hand to share free buttons with everyone. Postman Dan, Captain Townzand, Chef Jeff, and Bonnie Bonnet, mingled through the crowds that came for family photos and face painting.
More than 12 new characters made their debut to meet the families that walked the streets of KidzTown. Ms. Looney Lou twisted balloons for every child creating smiles and giggles everywhere. Cameras were flashing as each enjoyed the new look.
"We had a dream to create a community for kidz to learn and grow as they experience fun and excitement all tailored on the messages of the Bible. Based on the enthusiasm and energy here today, we're confident the children will want to bring their friends to a place they can enjoy and share in the love of Jesus at the same time" says, Shaun Wenner, the Children's Pastor of Niceville Assembly of God.

Grand Opening Weekend: what to expect!
Niceville and the surrounding communities are all invited...August 7 and 8 will be an amazing time for kids at Niceville Assembly. After a year with their new children's pastor, Shaun Wenner, the kidz of this church have a huge surprise in store. The first phase of a three part renovation will be unveiled on Saturday August 7 at 1:00 pm with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Face painting, photos with the KidzTown Habadashery, balloon artistry, and a cake reception will all be prepared for the enjoyment of the kids and their families as they tour the renovated portions of the kidz ministry center. Arrive early for the Pinewood Derby Racing throughout the morning on the 7th and pick up lunch fresh off the grill for just $5.00 per person. Ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1 pm and the building tour will follow. Also onsite, carnival foods, open cafe, and all the new KidzTown characters!
