Mrs. Bonnie, You Are Amazing!
Dear Kids and Parents of Kidztown, Last week I was running into Walmart to grab 3 things (its never 3 things, lol). My kids and I were very comfortable driving there in our warm car, it was one of the only cool days we have had this winter. While we were there filling our cart we ran into a familiar face. "Mrs. Bonnie, Mrs. Bonnie my kids yelled" as they spotted her. She was just as excited to them and I thought to myself "I love the relationships that they form" . We ran into her 2 or 3 more times during our visit there and one last time as we were heading to our car where she said "I gotta hurry up and get home before it gets dark, I had to get the crafts for Sunday" She wasn't heading to her car, you see, she rode her wheelchair all the way to Walmart to get those crafts. It was getting dusky and even started to drizzle a little and we asked her could we give her a ride but she said "No, I have my ride right here" I couldn't help but stay and watch her maneuver her way through the crazy designed Niceville Walmart parking lot and then towards Chic-Fil-A which she had commented about "Oh that smells so good". We followed behind slowly and worried about her getting across John Sims in the dark but she did it. She made it over the busy road and disappeared into the houses across the street. She made it! She did it for you and your kids! I don't know what the craft was, this fall probably kept her from doing it with the kids. What I do know is that our Church proclaims that "Noone Fights Alone"! Mrs. Bonnie's mission work is to fight for your salvation through tangible keepsakes. I think we may just pick up a Chick-fil-a sandwich on Monday and drop by the manor and see if we can stand along side someone who stands beside us. The Edelmans
