Almost Sleep Over Success
The night began at 6 pm when families were greeted, checked in and kidz were escorted to DownTown KidzTown for the big event. Kidz sported their pj's, carried their sleeping bags, pillows and bibles.
Fun and excitement started the evening with activities for every child. Games of every kind were only a "slide" away. Each child was able to slip down to the second floor on a built in slide where they found everything from video games, to ping pong, board games, cards, twister, and much much more in a festive and exciting environment.
DownTown 101, normally an area for kidzchurch services, was transformed in an instant. Sleeping bags and blankets of every color lined the room from front to back. Horton Hears A Who was the movie of the hour from which life lessons of friendship, faithfulness, and biblical principals were highlighted in the evenings small group time.
Snacks for the evening were all donated by parents of attending kids and included popcorn, chex mix, twistlers, fresh fruit, and drinks to wash it all down.
